Welcome to the PrePostPrint mailing list! We’re interested in discussing any alternative to the classic publishing workflows, focused on, but not limited to, using web technologies for hybrid and print publishing.
The mailing list is a place to share ideas, get feedback on projects you’re working on, discuss problems you face. It’s also the place to coordinate the PrePostPrint project itself, that aims to make visible these alternative practices, both within the design profession/education and within the world of software vendors and standards bodies.
The way the list works is simple. Once you’re signed up, you can write a mail to email@example.com Everybody who is on the list will receive this mail, the subject will start with: [PrePostPrint]. When you receive a mail like this, you can ‘Reply all’ to keep the conversation going. If you want to turn it into a private conversation, simply remove the prepostprint address before you reply. This can be useful if the conversation starts to become small back-and-forth messages: we should try to keep the volume of mails manageable!
D’ailleurs, n’hésitez pas à écrire en français (or any other language if you feel like there are people on the list who understand it!).
One last thing—the mailing list is archived. These archives might be made publicly visible at some point. For these purposes, you agree to license your messages under the license: Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).
